About BestSewingDeals.com About BestSewingDeals.com
BestSewingDeals.com
BestSewingDeals.com is an authorized Singer® e-Tailor. We carry the full line of new Singer® sewing, embroidery, and quilting machines. We also carry most parts and supplies as well as manuals and workbooks.

BSD is not a "mall", it is a small one person operation. Krisann Robles of Ark and Dove Designs designed and maintains this online store. If you experience any problems or find broken links, please use the "Contact Us" form to let her know.

BestSewingDeals.com has embroidery designs from three individuals as well as some from big name manufacturers. Our three individual digitizers are Krisann Robles (Ark and Dove Designs), Barbara Atkins (Batty's Attic), and Judie Breunig (Attic Treasures & Sew Easy Sewing Studio)

Here is a little bit of personal information about our digitizers....

Krisann Robles: I am the owner of Ark and Dove Designs and co-owner of BSD with my mom, Judie.

I am a homeschooling mother of seven, five of whom are still at home, and a grandmother of four. I have been married to Cris for 17 years and we have lived all over the US. I am a US Army veteran, the wife of a US Army veteran, and my eldest son is a US Army soldier.

I have been sewing since I was a young teen, doing graphic design and desktop publishing since 1996, designing award winning websites since 1998, embroidering since 2001, and professionally digitizing since 2007. I am a published writer with articles written for Designs By SiCK, 2 Hearts @ Home Catholic Magazine, and one of my websites was featured in The Catholic Home Educator. I love to create beautiful designs with minimal jumps and thread changes.

Yes, I am a busy person but customer service is very important to me. If you have a problem with the store or with a product, please let me know. I will work to resolve your issue as quickly as I can. Please remember though that BSD is not some big corporation with many employees, it is a one woman operation (smile).

Blessings,
Krisann

Judie Breunig: Hi! I'm Judie, Krisann's mom. I am the owner of Attic Treasures & Sew Easy Sewing School.

I am married to the most wonderful man, John. He married me 29 years ago (December 1979) and in doing so, took on 3 nearly teen-aged step-daughters ages 8, 9, and 12. He loves them and has raised them as his own. I am the mother of 3, step-mother of 1, foster-mother of 1, grandmother of 18 ( plus 3 in Heaven), and great-grandmother to 4.

The Attic Treasures physical store, located in Occoquan, Virginia, has been open for about six years. I had previously been running the sewing school from my home in Springfield, Virginia for about 10 years. I have been teaching different sewing techniques to individuals for about 25 years. Attic Treasures became an authorized Singer® dealership in 2004 and an authorized Baby Lock® dealer in 2005. The sewing school is now run from within Attic Treasures.

I have a genuine love of sewing that I wish to spread to all who visit our store and our website. Thank you for spending a little time with us today.

May God bless and keep you always,
Judie

Barbara Atkins: I'm old (wink) ... 51 at the end of November. Born in Philly. I married my hubby, Tom, at sunrise on Valentine's Day on the beach on Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Tom is bookkeeper for a large local supermarket chain (200 ACME Markets and another 1200 under 6 different names & 1500 drug stores). I have 2 step-children, Matthew and Sarah. Matthew is 26 and works for Crowley foods (cheese under many company names). Sarah is 23 and works for Rubbermaid-Newell in the Irwin Industrial Tools division. She's barely 100 pounds dealing with construction workers and should be promoted in January if you believe what her boss says.

I retired on disability in 2001, I lost use of my hands in 1995, got most of it back in 2002 after I let a friend take over my care. With a few amino acids here, an herb there, & an enzyme here, I have regained just about total use of my hands. I've had Fibromyalgia since about 1982. That was when they developed the test for Epstein Barr virus which I got in college in 1979. It was dubbed mystery flu & I was victim 1 with 20 to follow in the next 10 days. I was in hospital and was the "Typhoid Mary" of Centre County PA that year. I hate being sick. I see it as a wasted day. I know that I have limited days that I will be not sick & I face each day as a blessing.

I have some artistic training from prior to & during High School. I quilt, sew, crochet, knit, paint, all around crafty I guess. I'm a self taught digitizer I guess you would say. I got some tips here & there, Aunty M and Vivian (from RoseCottage) have helped very much. I try to do OPW's Digi-challenges to develop new skills & practice old ones.

Hugs,
Batty
