FAQ (Questions)

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Why am I redirected back to the checkout page after I log in at PayPal and 'pay' for my order?

    • When you log in a PayPal you are verifying your name, address, and PayPal information. Your PayPal account is not actually charged until you click the confirmation button the second time. You might notice a difference between the checkout page before and after you log in at PayPal - before there are payment options listed such as credit card boxes, etc. - after you log in at PayPal those boxes are not available. This is a good sign that everything is working properly and the second click will actually process your order and the items will then be available for download or shipped if they are physical goods.

    • If you do not click the confirmation button the second time, PayPal will assume you changed your mind and do not wish to complete the transaction.

  • Why do I keep getting an error saying that I cannot use PayPal to checkout?

    • If you live outside the USA and you signed up for a store account with us before the switch you may have listed your address as being in the USA. The old software did not allow non-US addresses. Please verify that your address is correct in the "My Account" section of the website and then try again. PayPal is trying to protect your account from unauthorized use because the address in our store and the address they have on file do not match.

  • Do you ship outside the USA?

    • No, I am sorry but we do not ship outside the USA. We will ship to military addresses as long as the address is the verified billing address for the credit card or PayPal account used to make the purchase.

  • I bought my machine from another dealer, can you teach me how to use it?

    • We want you to use your machine and to love it. We offer classes and lessons to anyone, even if you purchased your machine from someone else!
  • What does FSL mean?

    • FSL stands for Free Standing Lace - a design that is made without fabric. Any item listed as 'free standing' will be a finished item that can be used as an ornament or decorative item. You can stitch or secure FS items to clothing or other fabric but it is not required.
